I travel away from home A LOT for work and the seared ginger steak I had here was by far the BEST meal I’ve had out in a very long time. If you’re tossing up if you should try something here, I’d highly recommended it! My tastebuds didn’t know what to do with it. Absolutely could eat this every night of the week!
Stayed 2 nights. Then 3, and finally 4! So much to do around Deloraine and owners Mark and Amanda were incredibly accommodating. Food in the restaurant was delicious and delightful company at the bar in the evening and in the breakfast room in the morning. Walking distance to everything in the town. And yes, one of us did see the platypus in the local Meander River. Our room was comfortable and well priced.
We had a meal at the restaurant/cafe. Coffee was good but they were so overpriced for the food. We paid $25 for a main off their breakfast menu. It came out on a small plate, with one slice of bread, two eggs and three sprigs of broccoli and some pesto sauce drizzled on top. We were so disappointed 😞. It looked like an entree at best. Won't be going here again.
