The hotel location is near the Victoria harbor, shops, restaurants all near by. Great services, attentive staffs. Afternoon tea is from 3 pm to 7 pm. But the rooms are vert tiny, the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The bed is the size of a massage table, smaller then a twin bed. The mattress is too hard, uncomfortable to sleep in. Small bathroom, no space for two people to stand together in it. It's not worth the money I paid for.
We were very disappointed with our stay at the Empire Hotel Kowloon. The room was extremely small and poorly laid out, especially the bathroom, which was very cramped and impractical. The window was tiny, letting in barely any natural light, which made the room feel even more claustrophobic. The furniture and building overall felt old and worn down, clearly in need of renovation. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool — but to our surprise, it was closed for renovation during the peak summer season. This was not communicated in advance, which felt misleading. To make matters worse, the cleanliness in the bathroom was far from acceptable. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or rating. We would not stay here again.
I feel lied to and misled by the pictures. This is not worth it. The room was dirty. They changed my room, it was also dirty. This is more than just dirty, it shows persistent non-cleaning. The walls are dirty, mold in the bathroom, and there's dirt and dust in every corner.
