The Equestrian Hotel

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Equestrian Hotel in Ocala, FL, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby with its soaring ceilings, glittering chandeliers, and elegant finishes, we knew we were in for something special. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and impeccably clean and every detail felt carefully considered, from the plush bedding to the tasteful equestrian-inspired decor. The atmosphere throughout the hotel strikes a perfect balance between luxury and comfort. What truly stood out was the staff. Every interaction, from the front desk to dining service, was warm, welcoming, and effortlessly professional. You can tell the team takes great pride in creating a seamless and memorable guest experience. Dining was another highlight. Whether it was the refined cuisine at Stirrups, the laid-back charm of the Yellow Pony, or the delightful pastries at Emma’s Patisserie, every meal was a treat. The food and ambiance were consistently excellent a world-class in every sense. The hotel's location within the World Equestrian Center adds a truly unique charm. Even if you're not an equestrian enthusiast, there's something magical about the setting and the energy it brings to the space. In every way, The Equestrian Hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s more than just a place to stay, it’s a destination in its own right. We’ll absolutely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable escape in Florida.

Beautiful property, wonderful check in staff and wonderful valet & bellman. The vice presidential suite was not worth the money. Only one bathroom and they forgot to do our nightly tune down service both nights that we stayed there. The Yellow Pony Pub was amazing. It had fantastic food, fantastic bartenders, and a fun atmosphere. Their main dining room Stirrups had good food & ok service but it was way too loud and casual for our anniversary dinner celebration. People in T-shirts, baseball hats and shorts while we were dressed up in sport coats, and cocktail dresses. Disappointed.

The hotel itself, staff and location are amazing. We got upgraded for $100 to a room with a view of a show that was supposed to be happening. There wasn’t a show. The bed was super uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. The room itself was spacious, clean and pretty. For $700 a night we expected a bed you wouldn’t want to leave. But we almost went home it was so uncomfortable. The sheets were scratchy and the pillows offered no support. It was a nice experience but we won’t be staying again. Everything was overpriced.
