Over the last 10 or more years we have tried to avoid using Premier Inn, our recent stay here and countless other small hotel breaks have proved we made the right choices, this particular hotel is an excellent choice for location, the rooms are full of comfort and character, paid for parking is nearby. The breakfast selection is very good with full English or cereal and an array of fresh fruit. Well run hotels like this don't happen by chance the proprietor obviously works very hard to maintain this standard.
My husband and I spent the night at The Esplanade last week, and it was a lovely experience, we hadn’t paid extra for a sea view, but we were at the side, and I could glimpse the sea which was a bonus. The room was lovely, well decorated and clean, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was lovely, and cooked fresh to order, with plenty of alternatives available. We arrived early, and were able to go straight to the room as it was ready. We have stayed at most of the hotels on the front on our visits to Tenby over the years, but I must say for our needs now, quiet, but with close amenities, this is definitely one to which we will be returning. Thank you 😊
We stayed for one night. Fabulous location right on the seafront. We paid extra for a sea view and although the room was nicely decorated it was small and the wall was damp with some mould visible. There was a strong wind and the window was old and poorly fitted with wind blowing into the room so we were glad it wasn't winter! Shower was hot but not very strong. Some communal areas are dated although the breakfast space seemed very nice. Breakfast was lovely. They are dog friendly although you can't eat in the dining room with your dog so getting breakfast was a bit of a 'thing' and wasn't brilliantly explained. Basically you hang around and wait for them to make you up a tray. We weren't offered coffee or drinks and it felt like it was all a bit of an inconvenience. Might be better to just not have dogs in the hotel? A perfectly understandable choice and probably better for the doggy people to choose somewhere else.
