El Hotel SMA is a charming boutique hotel, located just 200 meters from the iconic church - so it’s the perfect base for exploring the historic city center on foot. The hotel features beautifully decorated rooms with a lot of attention to detail. There is also a nice bar located right next door, ideal for enjoying a drink in the evening without having to go far. So if you’re looking for a small but refined place with charm, personality, and an unbeatable location, El Hotel SMA is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely stay here again!

For my short visit with my wife we were amazed by the location close to the cathedral of San Miguel. Not only that, they have a bar that serves comfort food, they offered room service and they are a late night venue, which I loved eating tacos at 1am. The hotel is eco friendly and have a wellness concept which was what we were looking for. The room was clean and had a great vibe and service. Recommendations were given in the room to maximize our time in San Miguel. Look forward to staying in the “cave” room. Thank you for a great experience

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel SMA in San Miguel de Allende! The hotel's unique design, blending cave-like features with loft-style elements and a collection of eclectic modern art, created a cozy and stylish atmosphere. Jorge, the host, was exceptional—always available to answer any questions or follow up on anything I needed. The hotel has an attached bar (el Garage) and nightclub (Bar La oficina), both a lot of fun. And, I experienced no noise issues. The location is unbeatable, with popular spots like the stunning pink Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, El Jardín, and the artisan hub Fábrica La Aurora just a short walk away. Additionally, the renowned Rosewood Hotel and the delightful Tostévere restaurant are nearby, offering amazing dining and views. I highly recommend Hotel SMA for anyone looking for a memorable stay in San Miguel.
