We’ve just been in for a carvery for a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children. Carvery was excellent, everything fresh and hot and meat beautifully carved. Staff polite and attentive. Lovely atmosphere of a country pub. This place is a winner.
Rooms amazing clean extremely quiet and air con which was needed. Staff very friendly especially the lady that greeted us. Dinner restaurant not overly busy but waited 50 minutes for starters for just 2 of us main course the sea bass was really good but the chicken pitta was bland and not great. Luckily I checked the bill as charged for 2 drinks I had not ordered or received which annoyed me but mistakes happen and were removed when questioned. Breakfast really good fresh tasty and well cooked. On reflection we would come back as the hotel part was that good but maybe the kitchen could do with a little help.
A lovely old pub with character and charm. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is great and very comfortable. The dining was brilliant with good food and a selection of nice wine and beer. Thoroughly recommend Evenhill.
