The Farnam is truly an exquisite and luxurious hotel one of the fanciest I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The doors are opened for you, you’re greeted with champagne, and everyone seems to know your name. Sam was absolutely incredible he made us feel so welcomed every time we came and went, always greeting us with a warm smile and genuine kindness. We also had breakfast and dinner at Dynamite Woodfire Grill, and both meals were fantastic. Every detail of our stay felt elevated and thoughtful. This trip was definitely one to remember, and I can’t recommend The Farnam enough for anyone looking for a truly top-tier hotel experience.
My family of 4 stayed here in July for 3 nights. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. For the most part, the staff is absolutely outstanding, and they treat everyone like family. Samuel A (Guest Experience Manager), Sam L (Front Desk) and Dereck P (Valet) know exactly how to treat people and if there is an issue, they fix it. They are simply a phenomenal team and work together to ensure your stay is top tier. 1. Arrived in the afternoon and valeted the car, Dereck knew the chargers were full and stated that he would plug the car in before he left. 4 hours later, I get the notification that car is plugged. 2. Stepped on a piece of glass under the desk in my room, front desk had housekeeping come twice and checked to make sure the room had been vacuumed thoroughly. 3. Different valet parked my car in the charging spot and didn’t plug in, another EV owner left me a nasty note about blocking the charger. I raised it to the front desk and they immediately had a plan of action to train the employees on proper EV charging protocol. The thing that really stuck out to me was their attentiveness to you as a guest. If you go to walk in or out the main door, someone is there to open both doors. Every night the front desk crew spoke to each one of my kids and asked how the day went. From asking the youngest about the Zoo, playground and museums to asking my oldest about his track camp at Crieghton. They provided recommendations for dining that included knowing if the place had a kid’s menu or not. I’ve stayed at a ton of Marriotts, and this was the first to really know the area and not just recommend in-house restaurants. We will only stay at this hotel anytime we come to Omaha.
My husband and I stayed at the Farnam for our wedding anniversary this past weekend. We stayed once before in November of 2024. Our past stay is what caused us to return. My husband booked online but later called to let them know it was our anniversary. We were well taken care of and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful from the minute we valet parked our car to the minute we picked up our car. We ate at Dynamite and had some drinks at the Catalyst. All amazing. We will definitely stay again!
