I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had during my recent stay at The Fern Kolhapur. From the reservation process to my check-in and check-out, everything went smoothly. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome. The room and amenities were great, and I found the hotel to be a perfect choice for a solo traveler like myself. The hotel is good .. but it should be better for the price they are offering. Pros: The service was good,amenities were good, the bathroom size was more than decent, the water pressure shower everything was good. Room size was good, we were three people but the bed was king size and comfortable. Cons: Room paint was peeled off at places, took away the luxury feeling. The bathroom/shower curtain was mouldy at places. The morning buffet, there was variety but the spice level and taste was toned down to an extent that it felt tasteless. Misal lacked the spice expected in Kolhapur, everything was a bit bland. Also location is close to Highway but a bit far from local attractions. Overall for the price comparison with other hotels nearby was expecting a bit more from the property.
