Highly recommend staying here, late booking was not an issue nor was it extra expensive which was super helpful. We were politely greeted and shown around, the place is beautiful and spectacular at night time especially the garden. The McSkimming room is luxurious, warm and comfortable, thoughtful little gestures go along way and the 1 night was full of them! Tucked away in a quiet location relaxing peacefully was not an issue. No complaints from me! Expectations were exceeded all around. Will be booking this place again when needed for sure!
Beautiful accommodation in an early 20th century heritage house. We stayed in winter and it was super warm and cozy. The grounds were beautiful to walk around and the sauna and hot tub were such a treat. The managers Braydon and Aeziel are extremely friendly accommodating. Would recommend a stay here as a base to explore the Catlins.
Stayed here after hiking in Southland. Had an ankle injury, the hosts Sarah and Darren were super helpful to make sure my stay was comfortable. My sister and I loved the spa, the peaceful patio, and luxurious rooms. An absolute hidden gem. Will be back!
