The Flag Meiller Gärten

NOISE + TEMPERATURE: As on November 2024, there is construction on the west side of the hotel that is EXTREMELY LOUD. I Can't speak to what this sounds like on the east side facing the east. The noise begins at 630am on weekdays and lasts until 5pm. Separately the rooms are very hot and there is no way to control the temperature, it is governed by the building or the temp control was broken in our suite. We had to keep our balcony door fully open every day and night in order to counteract the heat. Otherwise the hotel and rooms are decent. The location is transit accessible.

Good clean room, nice beds, clean and nice shower. Room had an extra small kitchen which was really nice. Looked very up to date and has a nice modern feel. Only thing that i didnt like was the art on the wall in my room. Stayed for one night but wouldn't mind staying here for many more. Note... the pictures were taken after I stayed the night.

I met another guest in front of the closed door of the hotel at 7 PM on a Saturday. We were both trying to use the pin code that we had received through Bookings.com, but they didn’t work. We also tried to call the number posted on the front door, but nobody picked up. After several minutes, another hotel guests, kindly let us into the lobby and it seems we were then spotted on the cameras by hotel staff. So luckily, they finally did pick up the phone and gave us the access numbers to our rooms. Otherwise we would not have been able to enter the hotel so the self check-in system is definitely very flawed, as we both never received any message from the hotel on the check-in procedure. Otherwise, the rooms were comfortable and very nicely equipped.
