The Fleece Inn

We held our wedding here on 1/8/25 it’s was absolutely outstanding day and night. The staff couldn’t have done anymore they made our day so special and magical. From us booking the venue two years ago Carrie Anne helped us with everything also Becky and Laura were amazing they really made our day go to plan. Becky and Laura don’t get the recognition they deserve as they were absolutely amazing and made our day run smooth and made us feel at ease. Food was outstanding and bar staff and waitresses. Rooms are beautiful all our guests couldn’t praise us enough saying what a beautiful venue. Thank you to each and everyone of you for everything a day and night we will never forget xx

Visited the restaurant so that Dad and I could catch up with my Aunt. The Sunday menu is outstanding - I couldn't decide which dish to have so I let the server decide for me. He made an excellent choice. We decided to have a dessert because we had enjoyed our main course so much. My Aunt and I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Our first mouthful made us stop talking!! It was amazing. My Aunt's comment was that it was 'the dog's bollocks'! 🤣 Harry, the server, was excellent. Polite, friendly, attentive, and humoured his diners. Congratulations and thank you to the chefs and Harry.

We stayed in our campervan in the car park overnight and had an amazing meal. The food was incredible and some of the best pub food we’ve ever had. The location is stunning with views over the moors from a fantastic terrace. Mark and the bar/waiting staff were really friendly. Well worth staying or eating at The Fleece.
