The Fleming Hong Kong

The rooms were lovely, very comfortable and quiet. Good air conditioning. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location has decent public transport access. There is a large road nearby, but we couldn't hear it from the room. The breakfast is decent as well, mostly western food. Would definitely stay here again.

'A world in itself' Hong Kong and The Fleming. The Fleming is a small and luxurious hotel in the heart of Wan Chai, surrounded by tall apartments, its staff are a great representation of what this hotel is all about. The old world feeling is a charming approach to a small hotel with great ambitions. Included in your costs is a beautifully set out breakfast served between 07:00am and 10:00am. The chefs are working in partnership providing excellent and well presented dishes served to its guests. Osteria Marcia is a great opportunity to explore the Italian cities in Hong Kong. Including the Linguine Alla Vongole, a keen staple in Italian bistros, this can be followed up with a Negroni on the rocks and a freshly made tiramisù. 'A little pick-me-up.’ The ownership of this Osteria comes from Black Sheep Restaurants Group who are known for their perfect hospitality.

I stayed at The Fleming for one night at the beginning of May during a work trip. I arrived in the afternoon and left the next evening. The entrance is a bit hidden, but it was staffed, and someone guided me to the lobby right away. The staff were very friendly, and the check-in process was smooth and straightforward. What really impressed me was the interior design. The room was beautiful, thoughtfully styled, and surprisingly cozy. Every detail followed the hotel’s design theme, which made the stay feel special. The room size was totally fine, and I felt very comfortable. I didn’t use any of the hotel’s facilities, so I can’t comment on those. But the location is excellent—only a 3–5 minute walk to Wan Chai MTR station, which made transfers to and from the airport very easy. Service overall was very good and friendly. I asked for a late checkout and explained that I was trying to stay in my European sleep rhythm—so a regular 12pm checkout would have felt like 6am to me. I was offered a checkout at 1pm, which still meant 7am in my body clock. Unfortunately, no option to pay for a later checkout was offered, which I would’ve gladly accepted. At a price point of around €220/night, even though it was booked super spontaneous, I expected a bit more flexibility. All in all, The Fleming is a beautiful hotel in a great location with strong service and standout design. The limited late checkout is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars—but I would still definitely recommend it.
