Myself and a colleague visited the forge for an evening meal, the first thing we noticed was there was a large group of customers waiting for the restaurant to open, after dining there I can see why. The food was amazing as were the friendly staff, all set in an idyllic country building surrounded by nature, a must for everyone, we will definitely return.
I’ve been coming here years for the lunch special of soup sandwich and a drink with my dad and today I brought my partner and it was the first time in 3 years I’ve been and nothings changed which is how I like it! Great food and great service the young girl who served us was excellent and very friendly and welcoming food was excellent! 😊
Lovely pub, clean rooms, quiet village. Great breakfast & pub meals, with friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful place to completely unwind and only a 5 minute drive to Whitby, would highly recommend.
