Myself and my wife stayed here for 2 nights and it was very nice the staff were excellent and food was excellent aswell. The only thing that I would say is that the property needs a repaint but other than that the staff were great and we will comeback again when we are visiting this area. Well done to all.

I will give 5 stars to the fact that its a heritage property and has a magical energy. The staff there is extremely helpful and courteous. I will give 0 stars to Aspen for ruining the property and not maintaining it at all. The owners have rented it to Aspen to run as a hotel and Aspen while making money, is not bothered to spend to maintain it. See pics attached.

My Final Response Regarding Fort Unchagaon: When I shared my review, I genuinely thought that chapter had ended from our side. But since the establishment has now chosen to respond publicly, I’d like to close this with a few important truths—for the people, not for the hotel. 1. Truth will prevail. Always. No matter how many words are used to cover it up, truth is here to stay. 2. My review was honest, precise, and a reflection of what we endured. We were trapped in a locked property. The staff, following instructions from the salesperson, refused to let us leave unless we paid ₹10,000 for a 4-hour stay—despite the experience being one of the worst ever. 3. We were house-arrested. Yes, the main gate was shut on us until we called the police. If this isn’t unethical and terrifying, what is? 4. This isn’t about gender. No one—man, woman, or child—deserves to be treated the way we were. 5. You claim 25% of your staff are women. That day, not a single woman was present on the property. Not one. This post is not for rebuttal. It is for future guests who deserve to know what they’re walking into. Ask the locals—they’ll tell you more than I ever could. Truth stands. Always.
