The Fox and Hounds Country Inn

Came for lunch and had a fantastic experience, sitting out the back in a glorious sun-bathed beer garden under the shade of vines. Wide ranging menu from sandwiches to and substantial meals. Those at my table really enjoyed the cod and crab dishes. Service from young lady with dark ponytail and large dark rimmed glasses was first class. I also appreciated they happily arranged for one of our party to use their private dining room to make a quick business call. Heaps of parking out the back.

Fabulous traditional Yorkshire Inn. We went for Sunday dinner and were given a very warm welcome by the female member of staff. The place had a lovely atmosphere. Service was superb with our drinks orders taken and served whilst choosing our meal from the menu. We both decided on the Rump Steak. When it arrived we were not disappointed, beautiful quality beef with a large home made Yorkshire pudding and jug of gravy. The veg consisted of wonderfully roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and a medley of green vegetables, good sized portions, quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The meal was delicious. We decided on a pudding each, white chocolate mousse and a sticky toffee pudding, both home made and both delicious. Will definitely return and highly recommended.

Really nice country pub/hotel . We didn't eat but did have the bar snacks which were delicious . We sat outside in the lovely beer garden and had local beer and Guinness. The bar staff were really nice .
