Come here a couple times every year, and the foods always amazing. Last few times we've been served by a lively chap who always makes us laugh. The views from outside are phenomenal looking over the fields of goodwoods countryside. Always a great visit when in the area.
It's been nearly 20 years since my last visit and back then it was always known as a good pub. However, I must say after my visit today it wasn't just good it was fantastic. Great staff, very welcoming and cheerful and the food was excellent and arrived at our table within 15 minutes of ordering and it was very busy due to the great weather. I Won't be leaving it that long to return again. Amazing.
We stopped in here for lunch during a few days away for goodwood, the service was amazing, the views were spectacular and I had the best burger I have had in a very long time, whilst that may not seem so special, I have ceoliac disease and require gluten free so very rarely get to experience a good old fashioned burger and chips, this was far from old fashioned but was absolutely delicious. Will most definitely be coming back
