I had the loveliest stay last year at the Fox hotel in Istanbul
Enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Necmettin, Mr. Max, Mr. Moreno and all the staff for everything. The breakfast is really good too. You have a lot of egg options to choose from, on top of a great breakfast plate. The place isn't noisy at all. As for the downsides, for me was that the room felt a bit too small, and the fact it was mentioned that I'd have kitchenware in my room when I first booked (wasn't available for my room). These weren't a big deal though, the only problem for me was the fact it was a bit far from the metro station (15 minute walk~) and that the road is too steep.
Dont book it!!! I got food poising with their breakfast on the first day, i have been been sick, vomiting and with severe diarrea for 48 hours and the hotel refused to admit any fault or responsability. I had to cancel all my day tours and even after being asked by Booking.com to refund us, the hotel still refused to do so. The area the hotel is in is very dirty, uphill, you cant walk anywhere, you have to a get a taxi and a lot of the taxi drivers wont even come here, they leave you on the main street. The bathroom is tiny and smells like sewage all the time. The people working here are not helpfull at all, they are dismissive and rude when you ask for information, and they keep talking in another language, giving the impression that they are ridiculing the costumer.
