A true 5-star experience! We had the BEST stay at The Franklin! From the very warm welcome upon arrival, to the very comfortable room, daily turndown service, friendly bar staff, convenient residential area, and immaculate vibes, we couldn’t have dreamt of a better place to stay for our week in London. All of the staff was truly so remarkable! The level of service was very elevated, there was so much attention to detail, and housekeeping was top notch! The concierge was fantastic with helpful suggestions, help getting a cab or directing us to the nearest tube station, and taking care of our bags coming and going. Staying at the Franklin was a true boutique experience and we will definitely be staying again on our next trip to London! We can’t wait!
Great hotel. Easy access to everywhere. Beautiful art and decor, nice boutique setting, and staff who can’t do enough for you. Only parts not 10s are that the rooms are quirky and the continental breakfast, if you’re not into cereals, is not exciting or varied, but you can order eggs, etc. for additional charges. Dinner was awesome. They add service fees to your bill when checking out. They’re pretty steep, but you can adjust. Bar tenders and concierge when above and beyond.
Pleasant stay, room was nice and large for hotel in London. However would have been better if the light controls can be turned off completely for those who like to sleep in complete darkness. One evening I missed the turn down service due to ‘do not disturb’ light on but no card was left to suggest to request housekeeping to return if required. My booking was made via Hilton app and since I am a Diamond member I was offered free continental breakfast and this was confirmed at check-in. However at checkout the breakfast charges appeared on my bill. Although the charges were removed after I queried it, the staff stated that he was unable to see that breakfast was included in my reservation. Although the breakfast charges were removed but he had not removed the breakfast service charges which I was not happy about. Since I had to leave for the airport I just left it at that. So not completely happy about this.
