The Fullerton Bay Hotel

I will try my best to keep this brief, I absolutely LOVED my stay here at Fullerton Bay. From the moment I arrived, I received the most amazing service. I had booked with American Express points incredibly last minute (solo traveling) and they gave me the best room in the hotel and even apologized for not “giving me a better one” when it is undoubtedly the best view in the whole hotel!! I am so incredibly grateful for the staff members here, they are all so kind, genuine and professional. They put your comfort first and truly believe in what they do. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it. You will not regret it. I also had the opportunity to go to the Fullerton Hotel spa and got a facial and massage, and it was excellent. Amazing service and atmosphere and they were all incredibly accommodating. Thank you Fullerton/Fullerton Bay for a spectacular stay!!

We stayed in a bay view room at Fullerton Bay Hotel, and it was fantastic – absolutely nothing to pick on with the room itself. The view of Marina Bay was stunning, and the space was beautifully maintained. Housekeeping was impeccable. We had just checked in and stepped out for a swim, and when we returned, the room was already tidied, our clothes neatly folded, and drinks replenished. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly looked after. While the staff we interacted with were polite and courteous, the level of attentiveness fell a little short of what we expected from Fullerton Bay’s reputation. My partner’s birthday was the day before, and I had noted it in our booking, but there was no gesture, no birthday wish from the hotel. We had just come from Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, where we were given a whole cake twice, so the difference was noticeable. It was also a bit challenging to get the attention of the staff at the swimming pool, though this was understandable as it was SG60 weekend and the hotel was running at full capacity. Overall, it was still a memorable and enjoyable stay.

I came here a few times, each, not giving me good impression. One time I was having coffee in the lounge. We wait 5 minutes until we can see someone who we can make an order. Another one, we came here with families with 3 generations for buffet lunch. The black managers (non-Chinese, dark skin - any yes, managers so more than one) were having black cool face, not feeling warm or helpful to our questions (we asked him to explain the buffet wine menu). One asked another junior staff to explain to me. The only reason why our lunch was not savaged because this staff, name Kate (or Katie) was so charm, professional and polite that we felt she was the only one deserve a 5 stars. I gave 3 stars for this hotel. 5 stars go to Kate, minus 2 for the 2 black suit managers.
