The G Hotel Seashell

In general the experience was amazing. But room close to the beach was tiny, bed was very uncomfortable, me and my husband couldn’t sleep properly. Also I had some stomach issues during the visit either from tap water or food. Last 2 days of my stay I skipped breakfast and I felt better a bit. Food that they have except breakfast was amazing! I enjoyed my stay but it could be better with the better bed and breakfast. Thank you

We stayed for two nights. The staff were very nice. The rooms, the mattresses and towels were clean. The thing that bothered me the most was the boredom due to the lack of any entertainment facilities. Also, the sun is strong even though it is May. There is no shading for pedestrians, nor is there partial shading for the lagoon or the swimming pool. Even the choice of landscape trees will not add any shading in the future. The food, breakfast and dinner, is the worst. There is no taste and no variety Also, the hotel design did not care about providing sea views. It relied on the pool and the lagoon. More space could have been provided in the chalets, had it not been for the presence of a court between the room and the bathroom with plants. I do not see any benefit or beauty in it, except that it makes the room unnecessarily narrow. Also, the beach is rocky, and only a small part of it allows you to swim in it without injury.

A disaster of a hotel, we booked the best 2 suites they have direct water view. In other words we booked the best experience you could possibly have. The outcome, 1. a wedding venue blocked our sea front view and they refused to offer a partial refund. 2. Every hour or so someone asks for your room number 3. Told us the room was ready and gave us the keys, however they were still wiping the floors 4. We couldn’t sleep the night as it was a weekend and the windows aren’t even double glazed instead the cheapest windows you can find on the market. 5. the worst part, the water is full of rocks underneath where you can’t swim whatsoever, the compound right next to us doesn’t have any rocks however you’re not allowed to swim there (note: the hotel is part of the seashell compound) 6. The hotel can’t make a reservation in a restaurant that’s in their building, basically no concierge. I have no idea how it got a 5 star review, service wise it would be a 3-4, the only thing good about it is the pool and its design.
