The Gamma Hotel

Excellent hotel to stay in. Modern and very chic interior, making for a relaxed stay. Facilities are very new. The staff are warm and welcoming; received attentive service from front desk, porters, chambermaids, restaurant and spa alike. Good attention to detail, entire stay was enjoyable. The in house restaurant has amazing food. They have a concierge service if you would like sight seeing activities. Whilst not in the city centre, it was a short 5-10 minute walk to a metro/bus/train station, and certainly no troubles for visitors with cars. Lots of natural light in my block despite the windows opening to a shared lobby. We had a surprise of cake on a birthday, which was a lovely gesture. 10/10 would recommend to others.

Hotel rooms are very good, I would recommend the hotel to others. There are a few points I would want to note though: 1- the toilet sink smells, and once you open the toilet door, the smell hits you instantly. It’s something to do with sewage pipes or so 2- staff aren’t all English speakers / equipped with enough info to be tourist friendly. The welcoming you receive in the hotel is basic and doesn’t live up to the standard 3- the location isn’t in the city center, but that wasn’t an issue for me. If this is important to you, you may would like to choose something else 4- room service food options were more often than not limited and many options weren’t available 5- the mattress is quiet rigid and not 5 star level at all. The blankets were also 2 separate blankets rather than one big one despite it being a one big bed

The bathroom water is sometimes brown. The water always has a rusty smell and taste it was a disgusting experience we smelled like rust when we washed. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean and clear bathroom water to shower and wash with. The bed mattress is stiff and not comfortable at all. Honestly this feels like a 3 star hotel not a 5 star hotel.
