The inn is just off of a main highway, in a beautiful village. The service is so kind and eager to help, the rooms are great and clean, with comfy beds. The Inn is an older building with lots of charm. The Rising Sun restaurant on the premises serves very good food, even though it has the old place vibe.
Great accommodation if you're looking to go hiking at the many outdoor locations in the area. Pub is small, food was nice, staff are very friendly. Rooms have been updated recently, but the rest of the area could also do with a face lift.
Must be the worst pub and restaurant in Kilkenny. Staff no attention to detail. Girl brushed hair with her hands then handled sandwiches going out to restaurant. Very outdated and dirty. Smell of food bad. A couple came in and were ignored by staff they promptly left. No effort made here to make people welcome. Never call here again. Owners seem to have no interest here.
