My wife and I held our wedding here over the weekend and we could not be happier with our experience. Kristopher and Pam went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience on our special day and I am so grateful that they were able to make the accommodations necessary to make that happen. Our room was clean and the amenities were fantastic; heated floors in the bathroom, a built steamer in the shower, comfortable bed, etc. The venue itself is picturesque and the vision we had for our wedding came to life. The coach house was a perfect space for our reception (58 guests) and the food was excellent. Our guests mentioned over and over again how wonderful the food was. We did have a small miscommunication with one of the meals, but Kristopher and his team worked diligently to ensure that everything was taken care of. We felt very cared for in our experience and we hope that others will have the same. A tip to future couples who are interested in marriage at this location: communication is extremely important with the team at the Genevieve. They will go above and beyond to ensure that you get everything you are asking for, but it is important that you set the expectations. They are kind people and will help you when you ask for it. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!
The room feels like a hotel room (in a good way,) and the rest feels like a bed and breakfast. Very quiet and can be romantic if you find the tight spot. I was very happy with the room and the services such as the wine , dessert and breakfast. Yes, breakfast would be better but overall I was not disappointed. Good location as well, plenty to do nearby or just hang out in the property.,
Two nights, large King room with a veranda. The great; the room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It was also very clean and had some great touches like a fireplace and a jazz sound track… The good: Amenities like firepits, library and whiskey tastings and bikes to borrow are cute. The Victor is right next door and essential first night dining for proximity. Okay: Breakfast was alright, hard to compete in a town like Santa Ynez with so many options. The service was inconsistent, however, strong praise for the evening shift front desk; she was great both nights. Will stay again.
