Absolutely amazing experience, beautiful aesthetic of country/farm. Very friendly staff that provided the experience we deserved, the manager came out to check on us and reassure us if anything was needed she would sort it for us which boosted our experience. Food was amazing and we will be returning in the very near future thanks everyone 😊😊👍👍
We just happened to stop to get a drink in as we were going to look at the castle. We then saw they did food so asked about it and got a detailed answer from one of the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ordered drinks and food then sat in the beer garden opposite the pub by the river. The food (calamari, burger, fish and chips and cheesy chips) was freshly cooked and quickly served. It was fantastic, so much so that we are going back tomorrow with the in-laws and possibly going to stay there for a getaway. Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic atmosphere, food, staff, layout, decor, drinks and it’s dog friendly.
Need to improve their food game. Nice location, nice pub, staff were friendly and the beer was alright too. The adult dishes were OK, but the children's food was very poor - and for the price this isn't on. Hopefully things have improved since our visit...
