Absolutely loved our stay at The Rectory Boutique B&B. Helen and Wyatt were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our visit special. The house and grounds are stunning, our room was spacious with countryside views, and every detail was thought of – the snacks and water were a lovely touch! The bed was incredibly comfortable and breakfast, with fresh farm eggs, was delicious. Perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and walking to local pubs. Couldn’t recommend more – we’ll definitely be back!

Thank you to Helen and Wyatt for being wonderful hosts to us. They accommodated our late arrival which we are most grateful for. The Rectory is such a beautiful home with so much character. Our room was divine - clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting to both Helen and Wyatt, such a lovely couple who made us feel most welcome. We would certainly like to return some day soon as we never got to visit the Abbey. Lacock village is beautiful - there was a scarecrow festival on while we were there- everyone appeared to enjoy the trail! A village full of character and charm. Thank you Lacock. Thank you Helen and Wyatt. 🙏

⭐ 1 star Unacceptable treatment and lack of inclusion for disabled guest “Cottage” booked in good faith for a short break with a vulnerable adult in our care who is autistic and has complex needs. We were met with hostility and ultimately refused accommodation on arrival, causing distress and disruption to the individual’s well-being and our carefully planned respite trip. “Stating these are luxury apartments” and “what if he wets the bed” Owners showed a clear lack of understanding around disability rights, reasonable adjustments, and basic customer service. Rather than engaging with us to resolve concerns, we were effectively turned away from a 10 night booking with no support or alternative offered. This experience left us deeply disappointed and concerned for the treatment of other families or care providers who may be supporting someone with additional needs. We have submitted a formal complaint and will be sharing this experience with the relevant bodies to ensure lessons are learned. We would not recommend this destination to anyone expecting compassion, professionalism, or inclusive service.
