We really enjoyed our stay at the George on one of the busiest weekends—the August bank holiday. Although very busy, the staff were polite and professional and always found time to address any queries. The room was very spacious and clean. The location is within walking distance of all city locations, and the breakfast was also very tasty. I'd definitely stay there again.
Have stayed in this hotel several times. We have always had a lovely stay with lovely rooms & great showers! Recently I had a medical emergency while staying here in The George Hotel. Management & staff were so kind to myself & my husband while I was in hospital for as week afterwards. The offer of toiletries & towels etc was very kind. Thank you to everyone involved. Definitely 5stats ✨
Happy with our room and staff at check-in. Very disappointed and embarrassed to be informed in the morning that the male staff in reception at 6.30am was 'not authorised ' to give me some milk for my daughter. We were leaving before service of breakfast and had arranged with staff at check in for her to receive a jug of milk. I didn't expect such a big deal and was extremely embarrassed with his tone.
