The Georgian Terrace Hotel

The elevators weren't working. There was 1 working and the service elevator. The rooms were AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! The view from my room was terrible. The meeting room wasn't large enough for our event and we had to divide between 2 rooms. The facility was ADA compliant. I was able to use my scooter however I was inconvenienced because I had to wait on the service elevator. The service workers were kind but annoyed by the situation.

The location to the venue was awesome. I reserved a King apartment style. I received a queen and was told King bed are only at availability. Once inside the room I noticed the light was blown in the kitchen area, the kitchen floor had a huge dip that I almost tripped and it was covered with a rug. The floor(Carpet) was soaked outside of the bathroom. I notified the front desk of my concerns. They came and replaced the light in the kitchen.

The hotel is beautiful when you walk in but for the price it could have been better. Warr family booked this hotel a year in advance for a family reunion from July 11-13th 2025 and there was also a Beyoncé concert Atlanta was busy this weekend. But here is the imminent issue we had when taking a shower the water turned ice cold within a minute, the toilet kept flushing like it was a ghost in the room very annoying all night long, there was only one working elevator making us late to schedule activities because there were so many people there only to find out that they had a service elevator on the side that the workers use when it should have been told to the guest that it’s ok to use since one of the elevators was out of order. Parking was horrible and have the nerve to charge $35 dollars, the air went out in our penthouse suite, and the pool was closed why have amenities and they can’t be used that’s not our problem, we wanted to enjoy everything the hotel and Atlanta had to offer. Now let’s get to the bedroom it’s hot July and yes the A/C was on… the bed spreads were like a sheet of paper and had to take the spreads and sheets off the bed in the second bedroom just to have some comfort at night to sleep. We put the sign on our door for the room to be cleaned when we left out for the day. When we get back the room was still dirty, the floor didn’t get vacuumed the bathroom didn’t get cleaned the cleaner put one towel in the bathroom, no bags in the trash cans, no coffee refills or cups. This place is supposed to be historic and high end in the heart of downtown Atlanta, there were red and purple stains in our carpets, the fridge had frozen ice at the bottom and then it defrosted and then there was a leak had to take towels and put it in front of the fridge so water wouldn’t get everywhere, the floor was slightly soft like if you jump in one spot you might fall through the floor. My husband and I stayed in room 1509 gorgeous view of the city but we expected for things to be way better than it was for the price. The staff tried their best to accommodate our needs but could’ve and should’ve been prepared because they knew in advance that a family reunion was going on and Beyoncé was there in their city for three days. I hope they get those main elevators fixed with all the money they made and stop double booking rooms our cousin got locked out of his room and they booked another person while he was still there, then another incident happened where they gave another family members keys to a room and ended up walking in on someone who was in the bathroom and it wasn’t his room that was an embarrassing situation. Georgian Terrace Hotel need to do a lot better clean the scuffs on the walls, repaint, change or clean the carpets, get some better lighting in the bathroom, GET THE POOL & ELEVATOR FIXED IMMEDIATELY! 🥺
