Glacier hotel is located in a truly exceptional setting, in a small mountain village at the base of the Alps. It provides a perfect base for hikes into the surrounding landscape. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious, and the view from our balcony was remarkable. The food in the dining room was well crafted, and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. One note: they are very insistent on room cleaning each day, whether you want it or not. Overall, it was a lovely hotel.

Stayed here for a conference and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel staff was friendly and the food was consistently delicious! The surrounding mountains are wondering with many hikes with varying difficulty making this place a wonderful place to stay for all. Enjoyed my stay here and would love to come back!

Stayed for a night for a conference. Room and food were so-so but why the hell would that matter so much when you have the Swiss mountains all around you. Reception was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately can't say the same for staff in other sections. Housekeeping made such a ruckus whilst cleaning up the neighbouring room. If it was from the actual cleaning, it'd be fine... but this was from talking at the highest decibel possible to each other. When I asked if they could tone it down, they looked very annoyed and didn't even say anything, though I guess that shut them up. Some wait staff were rude. Would slam down a cup of tea in front of you when you politely ask for one. Take away things before you're done with eating like they just want to get rid of you. Been told that's the Swiss way of things but honestly, I had better service than this in one or two star hotels everywhere else in Europe/EU adjacent. But the Swiss mountains! Go for that and don't feel like you have to splurge on accommodation, is what I'm saying. The view is free.
