The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa

I recently returned home from an outstanding week in Cape Town at The Glen Boutique Hotel, and had what can only be described 5 star experience. The property, staff and owner Mark are all exceptional. From check in to departure, I was made to feel like family by all of them. Every time I entered or left the property, I was greeted by name with a smile. The property is located in the heart of Sea Point. A short distance walk from the promenade and a vast array of shops, restaurants and bars. The neighborhood vibe in Sea Point is everything I was looking for. Busy, active and safe, and the food and drink at the hotel are outstanding. The property has a pool, spa and clean spacious rooms. The daily turn-down service and plenty of water in the room was a nice touch, and the staff service throughout the property was outstanding. This was my first visit to Cape Town and I can stay I would not consider staying anywhere else. Exceptional on every level! Thank you Mark, and your staff for the incredible hospitality during my stay, especially the birthday celebration. 🎉 I look forward to returning. Cheers!

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, ever. The room was comfortable, elegant, and had everything you could need. Daily turn-down service with fresh sparkling water was a great touch. Breakfast was delicious, as was the coffee service. Our massage was amazing. Such a peaceful, cozy stay during the damp winter weather, plus incredible service all around! The airline lost my luggage and they even offered to call a couple times a day for status updates.

I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. The service was certainly the highlight, with staff members (Smart, Casey, Elton, Maggie amongst many others) going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Truly one of a kind customer service! Beyond this, the hotel itself is extremely comfortable, with large rooms, privacy, comfortable beds, spacious and clean bathrooms. The spa was wonderful, offering a hot tub, saunas and treatments (which we would have loved to indulge in had we had more free time). The turndown service happened twice a day, another testament to how great the service was. They also provide gym access a short 10 minute walk away, at a fully-equipped gym. The restaurant offered a complimentary breakfast buffet which is unlike any other hotel we'd been to. The dinner menu also offered heartwarming meals. Overall, we definitely recommend this boutique hotel and thank the Glen staff for their attention and care!
