The best hotel in downtown Boston. Been staying at this hotel when visiting Boston for 7+ years. Amazing location right next to the Boston commons park, consistently clean rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent gym , free snacks available in your room that is replenished daily, easy access to orange line and green line T metro trains and walking distance to all of the theaters including Boston Opera House and the Bosch Wang Center, and the Colonial. Ideal hotel for all of this reason. The only down side is that none of the rooms have a good view. The hotel looks over a Main Street that is not exactly the most attractive, but fine for business travelers.
Pros: Amazing staff, very clean, great vibe. We traveled with our kids And the pool was a hit. Amazing rooftop pool and also the area around it overlooking Hollywood. Cons: This is not a place if you’re traveling with kids. Rooms do not have any place for hanging clothes or closets. It is more like a place if you are on a business trip and you are just carrying one jacket or something, but definitely no space at all for that. Rooms are tiny so we had to really try so hard to try to put our six luggage in one room. I never saw small rooms like this. Location is not too bad is 15 minutes. Walk to Hollywood center. I think it’s better if you’re alone and you have no kids and if you like swimming pool and goodwives definitely check this out. Also, during the night we stay there, there was a party and it was going on until midnight, so it was almost impossible to sleep.
The rooms were modern, clean, and well maintained. The housekeeping ladies did a great job checking with guest on room. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was fell short. The front desk women wasn't very welcoming, I read another review stating the same concern. There is only two parking options, valet overpriced and parking garage next door which is high. I'd recommend the parking meters which was less than those options combined. Would I stay here again? Provably not, LA rooftops are all over
