We stayed here as a family and absolutely loved it. The hotel is luxurious and new. The location is perfect! It is right next to the old town, with everything within easy walking distance (10-15 mins). For those who prefer not to walk, the tram stop is just a 5 mins stroll from the hotel, making it super convenient to get around. Highly recommended for both comfort and location!
We had a great short stay at The Gold Bank. The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk from both the train station and the old town centre, making it really convenient for exploring Prague. The hotel was very clean and modern, perfect for a comfortable city break. The staff at check-in were extremely helpful and welcoming. We arrived early at 10am, well before check-in time, but they kindly stored our luggage in a secure bag drop area until our room was ready at 3pm. It made our first day in the city so much easier. All in all, a great choice for a short stay—clean, well-located, and with thoughtful service.
We stayed at Gold Bank Hotel for 3 nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean. We especially appreciated how quiet and comfortable they were. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including fresh vegetables, croissants, and some classic American breakfast items. The staff were polite and helpful when approached. However, there were a couple of downsides. There’s no short-term parking or drop-off space in front of the hotel, which made unloading our luggage a bit stressful. Additionally, the staff did not offer luggage assistance or a cart unless specifically asked. During our stay, only one of the two elevators was functioning. This led to long wait times during peak hours like breakfast or check-out — not ideal for a hotel of this size.
