The Golden Wheel

I had a 2 night's at the golden wheel & it was a very comfortable stay indeed. Loved the bathrooms! Spacious room, looking into the back of the hotel. Quiet and lovely to hear the church bells in the vicinity. Adds to the charm. For those who aren't into hilly slopes, the street could be steep for some on your way up from Malostranská. Recommend for sure.

My girlfriend and I had booked to stay at this wonderful hotel just before the pandemic hit. Obviously we couldn’t visit, but the hotel honoured our booking 3 years later in 2023! We stayed at the Golden Wheel hotel and had a lovely time. Great service, nice breakfast, nice rooms with an authentic vibe, and friendly staff. The location is great too - up near the castle and out of the way of the overly-touristy Prague 1, but still within walking distance. Someone is at the door to let you in all night in case you want to go out and enjoy the nightlife. Fantastic experience and would return - perfect for couples and families I’d say. 5 ⭐️

Not a four star hotel. No dinner service, minimal breakfast selection, no "do not disturb sign" and even when they come to the room, all they've done is fold the bed sheets. They haven't replaced the tissues or towels. Walls are dirty and no leaflet or program to explain what the hotel has And you can hear everything going on in other rooms. Location is all this place has.
