The Grand Hotel

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every moment. It’s right in the heart of old downtown McKinney Square. Most notable is the friendliness of staff and how clean everything is. The decor is a perfect balance of charm and sophistication, and yet not contemptuous. Due to its location, there are several great options in terms of dining, and this would also include Rick’s, which is a part of the hotel. The bonus for us is the live music. In terms of pricing, it’s very fair in value. The bed, mattress and boxspring deserve some attention. It might just simply be about a personal preference, but it felt like it could use an upgrade. Will most certainly come back here and recommend others to do the same. Thanks for a nice day.

The gentleman at the front desk that works nights and has been there for 10 years is such an asset to your brand. Always a pleasure. Also it’s so nice to have such good coffee provided early in the morning. The place is always so clean , so comfortable, restaurant food so good and everyone so nice and at a reasonable price.

Small town meets Uptown. So much style, comfort, convenience, and entertainment in and around the hotel. Rick’s Bar and the Chop House restaurant are a DFW destination. My wife and I choose to stay here often. A true quick getaway that feel like full blown vacation. The town square takes you back in time. A simpler time, but with some modern flare. Food, shops, coffee shops, distilleries can take up a whole day or 2 or 3. Rick Wells owns a fine hotel, restaurant, and bar. Can’t wait to stay again soon.
