Disappointing Experience at The Grand Mountain Hotel – Poor Management and Lack of Accountability We hosted a major family wedding event at The Grand Mountain Hotel and, unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Despite clearly communicating our requirements well in advance—including strict instructions not to open the bar, the hotel staff went ahead and ignored these directions just because some guests told them to. Their excuse was that they had to serve guests who requested liquor, completely disregarding the fact that WE were the clients and had made our expectations clear. It took us three separate requests, including a final stern warning, before they finally closed the bar but the damage was done already. This lack of professionalism and respect for agreed terms is unacceptable. In addition, the air conditioning was poor throughout the event, and nearly all our guests complained about the heat. When we raised the issue, the staff dismissed our concerns with weak excuses like "the doors are being opened and closed," rather than acknowledging and fixing the problem. The A/C issue persisted for the entire event, affecting everyone’s comfort. For an event of this scale, basic expectations like guest comfort and honoring client instructions were completely unmet. I would NOT recommend this venue for any important functions. The management failed to take responsibility and lacked the ability to handle a professionally organized event but they were keen to get paid for everything. Despite clearly instructing the hotel not to serve alcohol, the staff ignored this and opened the bar anyway. It took three separate requests, including a final warning, before they finally closed it. This showed a total lack of professionalism and disregard for our wishes as the client. The air conditioning was also completely inadequate throughout the event. Many guests complained about the heat, but the staff offered only excuses and took no real action. Comfort was clearly not a priority. Additionally, the venue feels outdated, and the overall service fell far short of what you’d expect for a large function. Sadly, what should have been a memorable and joyful occasion was overshadowed by poor management and lack of accountability. I would not recommend this hotel for any serious event unless major improvements are made. *NOT RECOMMENDED*

A modern hotel with a beautiful, spacious outdoor area and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The overall design and setting are very appealing. However, the interior could benefit from some updates to better reflect its four-star rating. There is also room for improvement in the dining experience — both the food quality and service fell short, and more attention to cleanliness would make a big difference. With a few improvements, this hotel has great potential.
