The Grand Nd Resort

Had a great stay at Hotel Govindham Resort, Mathura. The food and stay were both really good—delicious meals and comfortable rooms. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Shourav, who made our experience even better with his excellent service. The environment is very child-friendly, which made it perfect for our family. Loved the food service and overall hospitality. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Mathura!

My experience at Govindam Resort was extremely disappointing. The service was very poor, and the staff members were largely uncooperative. A few of them even spoke to me unnecessarily and made me uncomfortable, despite my clear disinterest in engaging with them. The rooms were just average—not terrible, but certainly not worth the price or the experience. What was most disheartening was to witness such behavior in a place as sacred as Vrindavan. Unfortunately, the environment felt more driven by lust and greed than by the values one would expect in a holy town. I strongly do not recommend this hotel for family functions like birthdays or weddings. We were there for my maasi's wedding, and the entire experience was so poorly managed that some of our family members ended up in tears. The management was careless and the staff's behavior was truly unacceptable. Save yourself the disappointment—look elsewhere.

One of the worst hotel experiences imaginable. On the wedding day of a close relative — a day meant to be filled with love and celebration — we were treated with suspicion and disrespect by the hotel staff. They behaved as if we were trying to run away without paying, constantly hovering around us and questioning us in front of guests, which was not only humiliating but deeply insulting. There was no basic courtesy, no understanding of the occasion, and absolutely no hospitality. Despite giving some respect and help us they acted as if we were thieves. This kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, let alone on such an important day. Their unprofessional conduct ruined the atmosphere and caused unnecessary stress to the entire family. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for a wedding or any family event. If you value dignity and respect, stay far away from this place.
