The Grand Oaks Resort

This was a return visit, and we noticed lots of beautiful updates since our last stay. There’s now a little gift shop with some great finds! We sat in the reading room with a drink from the bar — a great spot to unwind. We loved all the beautiful decor and furniture throughout the resort. The restaurant and bar are also looking fantastic — we really enjoyed the atmosphere during dinner and drinks, and the food was delicious. As always, the staff were kind and welcoming, which made it feel so nice to be back. I loved my beautiful room — it was clean, comfortable and easy to settle in with luggage. A very enjoyable stay — I’d gladly return and highly recommend it - 5 stars!

Loki was fantastic, very friendly. The lady that I didn't catch the name of was a little snappy. The room was a great size, shower was amazing. However the cleanliness of the room wasn't great. There was dust and dead crickets along the skirting boards and behind the TV was extremely dusty. Only the infront had been cleaned. The underneath of the bed had chips and dust under there also. I however think it's a great location on beautiful grounds. The cleaners just need to pay a bit more attention to detail.

My fiance and I came here for my birthday. We booked a lunatic asylum tour which was within the same grounds so we were happy with that. Room is spacious. Quiet location. Few car parks at the front but other parks behind. Fridge only. Limited cutlery. No microwave. Shower pressure is very poor. Continental breakfast is $10, basic coffee and tea is extra. Toast, stale cereal. Small jar yoghurt with fruit. Spa takes a while to fill but enjoyable. Our room had a little courtyard which provides easy access for car park.
