Thankfully, I only stayed there for a couple of hours. The hotel needs renovations, but the worst part is the air conditioning, in my opinion. They have air conditioning, but none of it works properly. This includes the units in both the rooms and the lobby. The only good thing is the beach, which connects to the Grand Palace where I stayed.
We stayed at Grand Hotel Hurghada from July 10th to July 28th, but ended up leaving after just 10 days due to how bad the experience was. The “all inclusive” was a complete letdown. Breakfast and lunch were exactly the same every single day – no variation at all. The food was repetitive, bland, and very low quality. Our room was dark and poorly maintained, with barely any working lights. It felt depressing just being in the room. At the pool, we were shocked to find out that items like Red Bull, iced coffee, and even fruit cost extra. The only drinks included in the all inclusive were cola, water, and black coffee – that’s it. To make things worse, we tried to take a short walk over to Grand Resort, thinking it was part of the same complex, but were immediately kicked out just for walking near their pool. Apparently, they use photos of Grand Resort in their ads and websites to promote Grand Hotel, which is extremely misleading. Overall, we were very disappointed. So much so that we canceled the rest of our stay after 10 days. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.i
The hotel is old and not renovated, and most of the rooms have broken air conditioning. There is no Wi-Fi, although all Hurghada hotels have it. This hotel makes you feel like you are in the seventies.. It is definitely not 4 stars. The food is considered relatively good. I do not recommend it to anyone at all.
