The best of the hotels in Waterford city. Charming hotel with rooms filled with character. Great location only minutes walk around the corner from shops, cafes and restaurants. There's a carpark across the road which is easy to access and the hotel offer preferential overnight rates while staying there. The food is also very good. They've a loyal clientele of returning customers for their carvery which is always a good sign. I had the fish pie from the evening menu and it was excellent. Staff are always super friendly also.

We were here recently to celebrate a confirmation. The food was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very patient with the children, and very friendly and welcoming. Tara especially stood out, she was very bubbly and good natured. The room we were in looked beautiful and contributed to making the day feel very special.

When I checked into the hotel, I was blown away by how amazing it was! The amenities were top-notch, and the whole place felt magical and relaxing. The woman who served me was exceptional and incredibly kind. She patiently answered my inquiries. However, the woman on the right was an older woman. As we entered the establishment and joined the queue, she directed a disapproving look at us throughout her service. She kept glancing at us with a discriminatory expression, making us feel incredibly uncomfortable. My fiancée and I, both 19 or 20 years old, should not have experienced such a hostile atmosphere. As soon as we left, I noticed her immediately approach the woman who had served us. She began whispering to her while maintaining eye contact with us. This is an unacceptable form of customer service and no one whichever age should have experienced that.I have been to many hotels & not once have we been put in a situation where we did not feel welcome like we did here.
