The Great Danes Country Inn

Second time we have stayed at this delightful dog friendly hotel. Proprietor Roger made us very welcome . Lovely location in small village. Very nice room, good evening meal and excellent breakfast, fruit, cereals , yoghurt and croissants . Opposite hotel large green leading to public footpath by farm fields. Our little dog absolutely love running around. We will certainly look to stay there again.

Absolute gem of a find. A lovely and quiet retreat. Rooms spacious and very clean. Shower was amazing with lots of hot water! Food excellent with room service. Carole and Roger are extremely professional and nothing is too much trouble. ( hard to find these days) Not far from the coast - Hunstanton or Wells . Dog friendly - took our boys . If you stay in the beautifully decorated forge the dogs have an enclosed garden ! Walks near by . A big green in front which is ideal for a game of ball. A kids playground not far away . Continental breakfast placed in a box left for you to eat in your room, included in your room charge , which was stacked with loads of goodies or a cooked breakfast for an extra charge . We will definitely be back . A very relaxing, stress free long weekend! Thank you both

My Wife and I came up for a weeding. Only stayed one night but from the moment we arrive we were made to feel very welcome. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Well stocked T tray including Decaf tea & coffee. We enjoyed a nightcap and a chat with the owners after the wedding. Very friendly. We prefer not to eat meat and eat a more plant based breakfast. They provided oat milk and plant based butter to. We would definitely stay again. Thank you x
