What a cracking little place. Stunning location and gorgeous array of buildings give a great first impression. The pub itself is everything you want from a country pub, lovely beam and fireplace. We were greeted by a very friendly and polite gentleman who was very accommodating and seated us in a quiet corner. The food is delicious, as befitting its higher price, and the desert was amazing as recommended by the another gentleman who served us. Highly recommended, beautiful location, great food, excellent staff.
Not an unfriendly soul to be found in this place (except for the cook maybe, in the early morning, but I understand that! ;) Lovely inn, great restaurant (especially the breakfast) and wonderful shop full of little souvenirs and exquisite food. Would highly recommend!
Came across this lovely little pub, and decided to stop for a drink on the way home, we thought it would be nice to have dinner before we went. I have the fish pie with veg and new potatoes and it was lovely, really enjoyable. Great little place lovely great food and atmosphere!
