I came from Denmark for a business trip and booked this hotel expecting decent service. Instead, I was scammed. They took my money and refused to return it after I was charged extra without explanation. Staff are unprofessional and clearly dishonest — you get the feeling they’re just trying to rip off foreigners. The food was disgusting — cold, tasteless, and possibly not fresh. The service is awful — slow, careless, and borderline rude. As a European guest, I was treated with disrespect and felt unwanted. Their attitude was clearly racist and dismissive, as if I didn’t belong there. This hotel is a complete disgrace. If you’re coming from abroad, especially for business, stay away. You’re better off sleeping at the airport than wasting your time and money here. To much expensive for this place!!!

The service is nothing short of appalling. Room service takes a minimum of 2 hours (!) even if all you did was order a bottle of still water. The staff are impatient and incompetent. The lifts work terribly - sometimes you have to stand around for 5 minutes waiting for one to come. I've been lucky enough to travel across the world and have never seen such a level of carelessness about the job in any hotel. My first time in Ankara on business but I definitely won't be coming back to this hotel in the future. Laundry service is also dreadful, that is when they bother to work. I've never before left a negative review for a hotel but I literally can't stress this enough: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

From the moment I checked in, the staff made it obvious that as a western foreign guest, I was not welcome. Every simple request was met with cold stares, sighs, eye-rolling, and the strange habit of loudly coughing every time they saw me, as if to show disgust. Reception staff would literally throw my credit card and receipts on the counter, avoid eye contact, and barely say a word. I tipped the room service staff generously, and still received rude muttering as they walked out the room. The room itself is far from luxury: air conditioning stuck at 27°C, stained showers, terrible careless cleaning, stains everywhere. Yet the worst part is how uncomfortable they made me feel, I was genuinely afraid to order food from the restaurant because of how hostile the staff were towards me, afraid they would mess with the food, and outside food deliveries are not allowed — so I felt trapped, worrying they might mess with my meal simply because I am a foreigner, even though I was always polite and respectful. So i ended up eating snacks and chips in the evenings and during daytime go to the center to feel safe eating! Also i had to switch rooms because of noise complaints from the guests next door, i heard them talking constantly and they had the tv on at late hours because of this and the hot room temperature sleeping was almost impossible. I planned to move to Turkey and invest here to start a business, but after three miserable days in this place, I cancelled everything and decided to leave the country. I have travelled non-stop for five years and have visited 27 countries, but never in my life have I been treated this terrible in a hotel especially one claiming to be five-stars. (No idea how they made that happen) The reception even had a army print mousepad.(see pictures) which was just ridiculous..The hotel itself i would give 2 stars, service and employees 1 star!
