Our family is very happy with the hotel. We were worried when we read the reviews, but then we realized that people had apparently inflated expectations. We knew perfectly well that the hotel was inexpensive and did not expect to see an ideal hotel. But the hotel is at a good level for its money - the rooms are not new, but spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is great, the staff tries very hard. Special thanks to Merdan, a wonderful person who helps us in everything.

I stayed here on business for 2 weeks and this hotel and staff were wonderful! Merdan the cashier at Vitas Restaurant greeted me with friendliness professionalism was VERY helpful. English is spoken by the staff and room service was fast to come to my room. I loved it here and would love to come back.

I recently stayed at the hotel with my family for 8 nights. Coming from UK with the weather being moderately warm to a very humid weather, we really needed the AC to work as it is meant to but instead worked at its minimum. This meant we had to open up the window even though there was no breeze. Merdan made my family's stay a pleasant one being able to communicate in English and having an exceptional customer service. The had room service for dinner which was ok. Not mouthwatering but it was okay. Although there were flaws here and there but since it was for a few days, my family and I just moved on to enjoy the city. However, when we were leaving on a Sunday morning around 4am and wanted to return the key, we suddenly informed about drinks in the mini bar... referring to the tiny fridge that felt like it was not plugged in properly (that was what we thought when we arrived as it was hot). We were asked to pay 4500 lira for two days worth of drink supply. We explained for one, they never mentioned payment at the very beginning nor was it put on the fridge. Secondly, we did not take any alcoholic drink. In fact, we emptied the fridge of the alcoholic bottles and took them to the reception so the children don't break them and put the full cans of red bull outside the door so it went with the plates after meal as the children thought they were soft drinks. In total we took about 6 soft drinks (can of about 250ml each) and were being asked to pay 4500 lira (78 pounds), which is equivalent of 13 pounds per can drink. That is Fraud! And being asked to pay that on your way out to the airport while the cab waited and we didn't want to miss our flight. For dinner, an average meal per adult was about 950 lira. So imagine the shock that combined drinks that were just over a litre are 5 times more than a full plate for one day. We kept explaining that alcoholic drinks were returned and they said it was excluding alcohol. Anyway, we had to pay for it as it was clear they wanted to do last minute rip off and we didn't want to miss our flight. That's our memory of the hotel now.
