The Greyhound Inn

We came for a birthday meal and all 4 of us are vegan, normally a country pub would struggle but honestly the food was incredible! So full of flavour and presented beautifully, it’s well worth a try. The staff are also very friendly and attentive, they did have a mishap not having enough of the vegan main in but they were able to offer an additional dish which was equally good, out of nowhere. Very apologetic but they pulled it out of the bag. It actually represents good value too for what is a very premium meal in a lovely setting.

Excellent experience all round. We stayed here for the air tattoo as it was a short drive and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Special shoutout to Alison, the bartender on Saturday nights & the lady running breakfast. Sorry we didn’t get your names! The rooms were clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed staying here. We were leaving before breakfast started most days, so they made sure the chef had some pastries ready for us in the morning. When we did manage to have their breakfast, it was fresh, tasty and filling. Cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back!

A good pub for a meal and a drink, the food was not cheap but certainly was worth it in quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub has changed a lot from when I used to go to there over 30 years ago. It was a tradtional Morland pub with pool table etc. Now its quite an upmarket pub restaurant serving traditional well cooked steak, fish with fries etc.
