The Greyhound Wetherspoon

We stayed for a couple of nights, excellent service, very big clean room, only problem we could not open the windows as they were sealed. Excellent location too, as in town, West bay is reachable within 30 mins walk or bus stop very close by. Highly recommended, will probably return again !

We popped in on a Tuesday afternoon and had fish and chips. Afternoon deal making the fish and chips £8.50 including a drink. Food was served quickly as usual and was piping hot. Staff were extra friendly and we were asked twice if the food was okay and it absolutely was. Thanks. Were the spoons for another great meal!

100% the best feature of staying here, was knowing that we would be leaving. We would highly recommend you stay somewhere else. It's redeeming feature is low price. Otherwise.... They have no parking. You either park down the street or in a long stay car park. If you have mobility issues, this is not going to be suitable. The greeting at the bar to checkin was "Oh, I'll find someone to do you". Reception is actually a locked cupboard, think Harry Potter but with a computer and you won't be far off. The rooms are noisy, doors slamming, guests shouting throughout the night in a foreign language. Street noise intrusive. Floor slopes in the bedroom, which means that the bed slopes. Toilet cistern broken and water constantly running. Moral of this. Pay more and stay somewhere else. You can thank me later for the warning!
