Lovely building and setting. Fantastic friendly and professional staff. Really well priced and high quality food. Had a brilliant evening with friends. We were looked after really well and have absolutely no complaints. Thank you.

The Griffin Inn in Bath is a fantastic pub with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious, with a great selection of wines. I highly recommend trying their Sunday roast. We went for Easter Sunday and it's was amazing.

Our recent visit to The Griffin Inn left us with a rather lukewarm impression. While the staff were generally helpful and attentive, the food unfortunately didn't quite live up to expectations, especially considering the prices. My wife opted for the ploughman's (£17), which sadly featured a few crackers that were noticeably stale and cheese that had begun to dry out. While there was a generous portion of bread and some ham, the overall offering felt somewhat underwhelming for the cost. I chose the steak and ale pie, served with chunky chips and some greens. The pie itself was decent enough, but again, the price point felt a little steep for what it was. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, although one of the staff members seemed a little weary, though not impolite in any way. Overall, our experience at The Griffin Inn was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. With a few tweaks to the freshness and value of the food, it has the potential to be much better.
