We stayed here twice for a total of 10 days during our multi city trip to Italy in April 2025 in a normal room and a junior suite. We stayed with your young family. The junior sweet was fine on the first floor and ideal for two people. The hotel was very good with ensuring we had a pack and play when we arrived. When we returned the second time the junior sweet was amazing and they even gave us some fruit and champagne to celebrate our return. The breakfast in the morning is great, especially with small kids. The hotel staff were excellent, grazie Antonio! The hotel is in the financial district and is a 7 min walk to two different metro stations on different lines. Both are very close to the major sights via metro. There is also a bus stop nearby as well. I would recommend it though I wished the location was within walking distance to the sights; however, there is not much the hotel can do about that. Either way the stay was great!
We stayed at The Guardian Hotel during our trip to Rome and had a solid experience. Pros: The air conditioning worked GREAT, which was a huge plus during the summer heat. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the essentials for a good stay. Cons: The location felt a bit out of the way—it seemed like we were in a business district, with lots of people in suits commuting to work. We had to take the Metro to reach most of the main attractions. That said, once we figured it out, it was totally fine. (We're from Texas, so public transit like that isn’t something we use often.) Overall, a great hotel if you're okay with a short Metro ride to the sights. It’s a quieter area, which might actually be a plus depending on your travel style.
It’s a cute boutique hotel but, unfortunately, getting help for issues with the room (AC control) wasn't addressed. And I also observed this for other guests when they brought an issue up to the front desk (I.e one traveler with a room phone issue & another with a key card issue). But the Guardian Suite is beautiful! And the rooftop bar is also very beautiful. Be warned: the elevator is tiny. I’ve seen small elevators all over Europe. But never one this small. Breakfast is decent; you have options! The rooftop was my favorite part of this hotel. Absolutely beautiful!
