The Halfway Inn

This place was a much needed respite from the drive through BCS. Great prices and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The location is beautiful, and the amenities of the hotel match the setting. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody touring through BCS.

Enormous room in a surprising Mid-Century Modern-mashup building, with a lovely fountained courtyard, at the outskirts of town. This hotel has everything -- a bar, a restaurant that serves all day (as well as morning coffee), a game room with pool table(s), and a gift shop. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for luggage, bathrooms spacious, and the huge windows let in plenty of sunlight. Very popular for travelers in town for whale-watching and especially amenable to larger groups. Stayed here in late February so the weather was still cool, and was surprised that our room had no heat. But rooms came with extra blankets, which did the trick for comfortable sleeping

Nice place for an overnight stay, food is good, bar drinks were good. The guy who was working the bar was sociable and had a good sense of humor. Beds were extremely comfortable.
