The Haven Krabi

We stayed as a family of 5 and this was the perfect size. 3 large double rooms, and 2 large bathrooms. The place was very clean, a little dated in places, but so what. It was a real home from home. The plunge pool Is perfect for dipping in to cool down and laying in a floating ring, but don’t expect to be swimming lengths, it’s just for splashing and cooling down. Internet TV worked great, not that there’s much time for that with so much to do. The location is a tiny bit isolated, but bolt and taxis were easy to come by and cheap enough. The villa offers 4 free taxi shuttles a day, these are set times and drop off locations, but still useful. It’s a bit noisy in the morning, the local mosques call to prayer at dawn does wake you…. But we soon nodded back off. The communication with the staff is excellent. They set up a little WhatsApp group with all the staff and you, very responsive, no issues at all to report here. All in all, excellent value for money, clean, spacious, safe. I would 100 % return if returning to Krabi.

We spent a wonderful week at Grand Villa. Communication with the staff was very smooth and convenient via WhatsApp. Late check-in was no issue, and any feedback or requests were addressed promptly. The property was exactly as described in the listing – clean, comfortable, and perfect for a stay with a larger family. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking without any hassle. During our stay, my son celebrated his birthday, and the staff surprised him with a little gift. It was a touching and very thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend taking advantage of the center’s assistance in organizing excursions. Overall, this stay was incredibly successful, with warm and dedicated people. I wholeheartedly recommend Grand Villa!

The room we payed for was advertised as having a sofa bed. Upon arrival they tried to charge us for a blanket for the sofa bed because the “pictures don’t show a blanket”. Horrible service and no understanding of how misleading their advertisement is. The power also consistently going off throughout the entire stay. No backup generator so expect to be without ac and WiFi for much of the stay.
