The Helaina

Absolutely outstanding! The apartments and B&B next door overlook North Bay. We stayed in apartment 4, which has 2 generous bedrooms, a good sized bathroom with over the bath shower, and an open plan lounge/modern kitchen with dining table. We stayed for 3 nights. The sea view was amazing, we never had the windows closed as you could always hear the sea. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage space. It was spotlessly clean. The hosts, Tom & Jill, are wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. It has good street parking outside on both sides of the road, which cost £2.50 per day (Aug 25), paid on arrival for a parking permit. Its situated in a great location, handy for a 10-15 minute stoll into town or down onto North Bay which is accessible on foot down the sloping hillside paths. We loved it so much we've already booked for next year!

Lovely clean apartment in a good location. We stayed for 2 nights and was everting you needed .., cutlery , dishwasher tablets etc. The linen and towels smelt so fresh and made the place smell Beautiful. We would stay again of visiting Scarborough.

What an absolute gem of a find in a lovely part of Scarborough. Rooms with Sea views can actually see the sea. Spotlessly clean and Millie the duty manager was so helpful and friendly whilst being very professional. Customer service at its best The breakfast was fabulous with local produce used and cooked by Tom the owner. Can’t recommend the hotel and staff and food enough. Also an honesty bar which had reasonably priced drinks. Very unusual these days. We will definitely return loved our night there. Thank you. Lesley and Chris
