Everything about this place is top notch! The staff are wonderful and the valet is so quick and polite. We arrived early to check in and while we waited, Eric from valet took us all around the resort so we could see where everything was. He was incredible! The food was very good, the grounds are immaculate and the private beach is incredible. If you can afford to stay here, DO IT!! We will definitely be back on a yearly basis.
We recently stayed at Henderson Beach Resort and had a fantastic experience overall. While the price was a bit on the higher side, we felt it was worth it for the quality and comfort we received. The beach was absolutely beautiful—clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing or taking long walks. One of the biggest highlights for us was how pet-friendly the resort is. Traveling with our furry companions can be a challenge, but Henderson made it so easy and welcoming. It’s a huge plus for pet owners! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The service throughout our stay was consistently excellent, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We also loved the pool area—there are three different pools to choose from, which helps avoid crowding and adds variety. The only downside was the food—it was definitely overpriced for what it was. While convenient, we ended up eating off-site more often than not. All in all, if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great service, pet-friendly amenities, and beautiful beach access, Henderson Beach Resort is a great choice. Just budget a little extra for meals or explore local dining options nearby!
Beautiful and pleasant place. Spacious room, nice decor, and friendly staff. The resort isn't directly on the beach; you have to walk a bit and access the beach through a gate. The Gulf view is limited because there's a state park with a large green area in front of the resort. If you don't have a Gulf-facing room on the second/third floor, you can only enjoy a beautiful view from the rooftop deck, which opens only at 5 p.m. The resort has three pools—one is adults-only. Unfortunately, the family pool was under repair for 3 days and opened on the last day of our stay, when we had planned to explore other beaches, so we didn't get to enjoy it. Overall, the resort's prices are high, especially considering that you have to add a daily tip for each service. For the price, some things could be taken care of more thoroughly. When we got to the room we noticed sand on one of the chairs and hair in the shower stall; there were super worn pool/beach towels with holes already; they didn't replace the liquid soap in our bathroom on the second and third days.
